Step 1. You can get lots of variations on this frame, by using different fonts, so I hope you will experiment :)
Open a new image 600 x 600 Raster Background, Transparent.
For the Foreground and Stroke Properties use 'Pattern' and make
For the Background and Fill Properties use 'Colour' and make the
Select the Text tool and use the following settings:-
Create as=Vector
As we are using Vector text psp will automatically place it on
Click on your image with the Text tool. Type a capitol
Go to Objects...Align...Center in Canvas...

Step 2. Go to effects...Plugins...Mura Meister...Copies... From the dropdown list of presets (bottom left) choose 'Line', then change the 'Number' setting (top right)to 10.
Click OK

Step 3. Go to Effects...Reflection Effects...Kaleidoscope... Use these settings:-

Step 4. Select the Magic Wand tool and use these settings:- Mode=Add Match mode=RGB Value Tolerance=0 Sample merged=Unticked contiguous=Ticked Feather=0 Antialias=Ticked Outside Click once in the empty area in the centre of the image and once in the empty area at outside edge of the frame. Go to Selections...Invert... The selection should now run around both the inner and outer edges of your gold frame.
go to Selections...Modify...Contract...
Activate the bottom layer of your image (Raster 1)
Go to Effects...3D Effects...Inner bevel...
De-select
Make the top layer (containing the gold frame) active.
Go to Layers...Merge...Merge Down...

Step 5. Select the Text tool and use the following settings:- Create as=Vector Direction=It doesn't matter Font=Designer Plus Size=72 Stroke=0 Warp Text=It doesn't matter Alignment=It doesn't matter Font Style=Bold Antialias=Smooth Line Style=Solid Change the Background on the materials palette to the gold pattern you have been using and change the Foreground to Transparent.
Click on your image, this time Type a capitol

Step 6. Go to Effects...Plugins...Mura Meister...Copies... Use the Line preset again, but this time change the 'Number' setting to 50
Go to Effects...Reflection Effects...Kaleidoscope...

Step 7. Go to Layers...Arrange...Move Down...
Make the bottom layer (Raster 1) active.
Use these settings:-
Go to Layers...Merge...Merge visible.

Step 8 Add a new Layer, then go to Layers...Arrange...Send to bottom...
Activate the Selection tool, click on the Custom selection
Open the picture that you want to frame. It should be square,
Go to Edit...Copy...
You can add a drop shadow to the frame layer if you wish.

Step 9 Open the picture that you want to frame. The image should be square. Go to Image...Picture Frame... Click on the dropdown list (arrow 1 in the screenshot below) and choose your frame. The option arrowed 2 in the screenshot puts the frame around the canvas, there is an option to place it around a layer, but this is only relevant when your image has more than one layer, so is not used in this tutorial. If your image has a lot of empty space around the edges, you might want to have the frame placed 'inside of the image', but if you want all of the picture to be visible choose 'Frame outside of the image' (arrow 3 in the screenshot).
